July Semiannual Training

The July Semiannual Training is taking place this week, July 1 to 6, in Anaheim and by webcast in Los Angeles and around the world. The subject is “Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (1)."

Pray for the saints to receive and respond to the Lord's burden in His up-to-date speaking, and to participate as much as possible in study times. Pray that through this training the Triune God will operate more in us to accomplish His will, fulfill His purpose, and satisfy the desire of His heart.

FTTA and FTTA-MA

Last weekend, trainees graduated from the FTTA, FTTA-XB, and FTTA-MA. Please continue to pray for all these ones to follow the Lamb wherever He may go. Pray also for many college graduates and young working saints to answer God's call to go to the FTTA next term. A video of the graduation meeting is available for a limited time at ftta.org.

The Fall 2024 term of the Middle-age Full-time Training in Anaheim goes from September 9 to December 21. The classes are given in English, Chinese, Korean and Spanish. It is hoped that many saints in the Lord's recovery, especially those between the ages of 35 and 65, will seize this opportunity to be perfected. All FTTA-MA applications must be received by August 20.

France

The first round of France's elections for all members of the national parliament was on June 30. The final round is on July 7. The first round results led to strong expressions of political concern by many groups in France. The election and reactions are outwardly manifested, but at the same time the Lord is doing a marvelous, hidden work in the country, especially among students and young adults.

Let us petition the Lord that the coming vote will do nothing to hinder His present move in France and its spread all over French-speaking Europe.

2024 Olympics Torch Relay Gospel Trips

The eighth gospel trip is currently taking place June 27 to July 8 in Lille and Brussels. Lille was previously was visited on three occasions by Russian-speaking trainees and saints; it will be visited six more times in the remaining trips. May the Lord gain many seeking ones, particularly among the younger generation, for His testimony in these cities!

Please pray that:

  • The existing churches in French-speaking Europe will be strengthened by the gospel teams.
  • The Lord will gain local French speakers along with their families for the church life.
  • The Lord will raise up new lampstands in Marseilles, Montpellier, Toulouse, Caen, Nantes, Lille, Mertzig (Luxembourg), and Geneva (Switzerland).
  • By Summer 2025 there will be a team of 20 full-time serving ones in Paris to take care of the Lord's needs throughout France.
  • Many students, families, and mature saints will migrate to France within the next couple of years for the Lord's interest.
  • The Lord will cover and rule over any disturbances from the enemy that might hinder the distribution.
  • The Holy Spirit will prepare the ground in Paris, which will receive multiple teams starting July 11 and in the remainder of the gospel trips.

Reports and testimonies are compiled for the saints' awareness and prayer. To receive these directly, subscribe at courantdevie.myflodesk.com. All archived reports are at tinyurl.com/2024gospeltrips.

Application information is at www.amanatrust.org.uk/page/2024Paris. Saints in LA burdened to give for the distribution can do so through the Church in Los Angeles designated for “Paris Olympics.”

Ukraine

Please pray that the Lord will protect the tripartite being of all the saints and will rule in the heavens over every aspect of this conflict so that the result will advance His economy on earth.

Living a Life of Enjoying Christ

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.” (Col. 3:16)

“In whom all the building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in spirit.” (Eph. 2:21-22)

God's will is for us to enjoy Christ. We need to seek to enjoy Christ and experience Him in every situation. In order to experience the riches of Christ as the good land, we must be dominated, governed, directed, moved, and led by our spirit.

When we enjoy Christ personally in our daily life for our collective enjoyment of Him in our meeting life, God is among us, and we are His dwelling place and His kingdom. When we enjoy Christ to such an extent, the church meeting will be filled with God, and all its activities will convey and transmit God to people that they may be infused with God. The true worship of God by His people is when everyone is full of Christ, radiant with Christ, and exhibiting the Christ upon whom they have labored. (Laboring on the All-inclusive Christ Typified by the Good Land…, msg. 12, II.B, E.8, III.A-C)

July Semiannual Training

The 2024 July Semiannual Training will be held next week at the Ministry Conference Center in Anaheim from July 1 to 6 and by webcast in Los Angeles and around the world. The general subject is “Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (1).”

Please pray for the Lord to bless all the preparations for the upcoming training and cover the travel of all the saints. Pray for the Lord to strengthen and protect all the speaking brothers in their tripartite being as they seek Him and labor diligently in cutting straight the word of the truth. Pray for the release and receiving of the Lord's up-to-date burden, that the Spirit will operate through the speaking to build up the Body and prepare the bride for His return.

FTTA Graduation

This Saturday, June 29, the graduation meeting for the 2024 Spring Class of the Full-time Training in Anaheim, including a recognition of the Boston Extension (FTTA-XB) trainees, starts at 9:30 am at the Ministry Conference Center. This meeting can also be seen online at www.ftta.org/graduation.php. In the afternoon, the Middle-age Training (FTTA-MA) graduation starts at 3:00 pm at 1853 W. Ball Rd.

Please pray for the graduates of the FTTA and the FTTA-MA trainings, that they will continue to pursue Christ, gain Him, live Him, and minister Him for the building up of the Body.

2024 Olympics Torch Relay Gospel Trips

This week, the seventh and eighth gospel trips are taking place, respectively, June 24 to July 1 in Strasbourg and June 27 to July 8 in Lille and Brussels. May the Lord gain many seeking ones, particularly among the younger generation, for His testimony in these cities!

Please continue to pray for:

  • The whole situation in France—from the legislative election on June 30 and July 7 to safety concerns—that the Lord would have a way to move in the hearts of the people during this time.
  • The Lord's blessing and protection on the saints from different countries going to serve, and for their blending together to serve as in a heavenly team in one accord without opinions.
  • The Lord's covering and ruling over any disturbances from the enemy that will hinder the distribution.
  • The follow-up shepherding of contacts from Lille and TR1–6 (Marseille, Montpellier, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Caen, Rennes, and Nantes), including a weekly Zoom seminar, through the coordination of both local and overseas saints.
  • More saints to apply for OL3–5 trips (starting August 10, 20, and 31, respectively).

Israel

Please continue to pray for the situation in Israel and the Middle East, that through the prayers of the saints the evil rulers and authorities in the air, and the human agents used by them, will be bound, and God's interests will be furthered and His chosen ones preserved.

Pray that God will use the situation to cause the gospel of the kingdom to be proclaimed, and that many people, regardless of ethnicity, religion or background, will be unveiled to see Christ as the Savior and the only way to God.

Laboring on Christ for the Corporate Worship of the Father

“But to the place which Jehovah your God will choose out of all your tribes to put His name, to His habitation, shall you seek, and there shall you go. And there you shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices and your tithes and the heave offering of your hand and your vows and your freewill offerings and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock.” (Deut. 12:5-6)

“What then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.” (1 Cor. 14:26)

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truthfulness.” (John 4:24)

Daily, we should labor on Christ to have a harvest of Christ's riches to bring to the church meetings for the corporate worship of God the Father. Christ will be exalted and glorified, and the Father will be pleased and satisfied. It is crucial that we diligently labor on Christ to have our hands full of Christ and then come to the church meetings to enjoy this rich and glorious Christ with God's children and with God the Father Himself.

Whenever we come to the Lord's table meeting to remember the Lord and worship the Father, we must come with the riches of Christ produced by our daily laboring on Christ. To worship God with Christ is to worship Him collectively with all the children of God by enjoying Christ with one another and with God. We need to produce enough of Christ so that there will be a surplus to share with others and to offer the best part of the produce to God the Father for His joy, delight, and satisfaction. (Laboring on the All-inclusive Christ Typified by the Good Land…, msg. 11, III.C-E, 1-2)

LA Family Bible Day

The church in Los Angeles will be hosting our first Family Bible Day this Saturday, June 22. This gathering will include a time for singing and storytelling, crafts, fun activities, and lunch at a park. Over 100 people have signed up! Please pray for:

  • The preparation and coordination of our gathering.
  • An increase in fellowship among all the families.
  • A sweet atmosphere for the children to get acquainted and to form friendships outside of the meetings.
  • All the children to realize that they are precious and to aspire to be precious to God.
  • The strengthening of the vision and care for the families and children across all the halls in LA.

FTTA Middle-age Training

The Fall 2024 term of the Middle-age Full-time Training in Anaheim (FTTA-MA) will be from September 9 to December 21. All classes are given in English, Chinese, Korean and Spanish and designed with a full year in view in two 15-week terms. Saints may also attend on a short-term basis.

Please pray for more saints in the Lord's recovery to seize this opportunity to be perfected. All applications must be received by the training office no later than August 20.

2024 Olympics Torch Relay Gospel Trips

Following what it considered to be disastrous EU election results, the French government called a snap election for parliament just two weeks before the Olympic Games. Aside from this political upheaval, there have also been terrorist threats to the opening of the games. Please pray for:

  • The whole situation in France—from the election to the safety concerns—that the Lord would have a way to move in the hearts of the people during this time.
  • The Lord's blessing and protection on the saints from different countries going to serve, and for their blending together to serve as in a heavenly team in one accord without opinions. The next Torch Relay trip starts on June 24 in Strasbourg.

For the saints' awareness and prayer, the following detailed reports and testimonies are available:

Botswana

Botswana is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. The church life there began in 2014 with four faithful sisters who had touched the ministry through Europe and began practicing the church life and entering into the ministry publications. Currently, of the 19 saints, only 7 are meeting regularly. Most of the saints are located in the capital city, Gaborone, while 4 saints are scattered around the country. Six saints have graduated from FTT Pretoria; two brothers are learning to bear responsibility.

From 2022 to 2023, fifty university students who had met the saints while studying abroad in Israel returned to Botswana; out of the 10 students we were able to have fellowship with, at least 4 are positive. Through our labour at the University of Botswana, we have another 5 positive students. There are also families and sons of peace in the community under the care and shepherding of the saints.

This weekend, June 22 to 23, the seventh annual Botswana Blending Conference will take place. with 80 to 100 saints from Southern Africa are expected to attend.

Please pray for:

  • The Lord to establish a lampstand in Gaborone.
  • The care and shepherding of many dear ones not currently meeting, that the Lord would heal any wounds and restore the joy of their salvation.
  • The Lord's bountiful supply and wisdom to the saints caring for their gospel contacts.
  • This weekend's blending conference, that Lord would use it to gain Botswana for Himself; pray for some who were invited to be released in every way and hear the gospel of the kingdom.
  • The migration of families to strengthen the Lord's move in Botswana, along with much visitation and blending with neighboring nations.
  • The Lord to raise up the proper eldership and add to the brothers in Gaborone.

Walking in the Corporate Christ

“As therefore you have received the Christ, Jesus the Lord, walk in Him.” (Col. 2:6)

“For even as the body is one and has many members, yet all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also is the Christ.” (1 Cor. 12:12)

[In Colossians 2:6] the One in whom we need to walk is the incorporated God. To receive Christ is to receive the Body-Christ, because Christ today is a corporate Body (1 Cor. 12:12). We need to receive this Christ. (CWWL, 1973-1974, vol. 1, “The Vision and Experience of the Corporate Christ,” p. 496)

It makes a great difference in our Christian life to walk in the corporate Christ. Most Christians today have been robbed of the riches of Christ. Most are spiritually poor and weak simply because they care only for Christ and not for the church.

Many of us in the Lord's recovery can testify that since the day we came into the church and began to care for the church, there has been a great difference in our spiritual life. We have the inner sense that we are rich. Everyone in the church is a spiritual billionaire; we are all rich.

In the meetings of the church every member of the Body has a portion of Christ. For this reason, we each need to open our mouth to release the riches of Christ within us. We all need to share our portion of Christ and enjoy the portion of others. (CWWL, 1973-1974, vol. 1, “The Vision and Experience of the Corporate Christ,” pp. 496-497, 490-491)

Semiannual Video Training Registrations

The general subject of the upcoming July Semiannual Training is “Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (1).” For saints in Los Angeles, the firm registration deadline to participate in this training by video is this Lord's Day, June 16 ($130). Register at tinyurl.com/summertrainingla.

Please pray for the release and receiving of the Lord's speaking in this training. May the Lord grant us to treasure these trainings and seize every opportunity to attend them not only to see the intrinsic essence of the divine revelation but also to serve as a proper audience for the unhindered release of the crystals in the Word of God. (For more fellowship on the history and significance of the semiannual trainings, see the April 2022 issue of "Having This Ministry…")

LA YP Summer Kick-off

This Saturday, June 15, there will be an LA YP Summer Kick-off gathering that will include time at a park, lunch, meeting, fellowship and dessert. We hope many of the young people in LA will be free to join all or part of the time. Our burden is that this time will provide some strong momentum and blending among our young people ahead of next month's LA Truth School (July 27 to August 3).

Please pray for the preparations for this Saturday, the availability of the young people, and an encouraging atmosphere. May the Lord bless this time with His living word!

Lord, Move Onward in Europe

From June 6 to 9, citizens in the 27 European Union nations voted to select the 720 members of the European Parliament. The new parliament will shape the direction of the European Union for five years on various matters. Politics in Europe will have a big role in preparing the world for antichrist to rise up and for the Lord's return. Let us release in prayer on earth the Lord's will in heaven to move Europe in the direction He desires.

Following these elections, the President of France suddenly set French national parliamentary elections for the end of June. Petition the Lord that nothing in French politics will hinder His current move in the gospel and in raising up new churches.

2024 Olympics Torch Relay Gospel Trips

Currently, the Torch Relay (TR) trips are paused for two weeks while the torch travels to overseas French territories. The seventh trip will start on June 24 in Strasbourg.

Before the start of the official TR trips, and concurrent with some of them, the Russian-speaking trainees from FTTM-XW (Warsaw Extension in Poland) were sent to Lille in northern France, near the border with Belgium, on three separate trips (April 8 to 15, May 11 to 18, and June 1 to 8). In addition to Lille being the location of our distribution warehouse, this region also has some Russian-speaking saints.

The goal of these trips was to till the soil, preparing the ground for the next stage, to strengthen the testimony there, and to encourage and refresh the local saints. More than 2,400 NTs were distributed and many contacts were made. The saints testified, “Our concept about French people being very closed was completely broken. We were so impressed by their openness, especially the young people, some were literally running to the table.” Hallelujah!

Please pray for:

  • A lampstand to be raised up in Lille and a strong testimony in this city.
  • Communications with the French authorities, that there would be no hindrances to the Lord's move.
  • The follow-up shepherding of contacts from Lille and TR1–6 (Marseille, Montpellier, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Caen, Rennes, and Nantes), including a weekly Zoom seminar, through the coordination of both local and overseas saints.

For the saints' awareness and prayer, the following detailed reports and testimonies are available:

More information is at www.amanatrust.org.uk/page/2024Paris. Saints in LA burdened to give for the distribution can do so through the Church in Los Angeles designated for “Paris Olympics.”

Ramenskoye Meeting Hall

When the Lord's recovery came to the Russian-speaking world, the Lord raised up a group of Christians in Ramenskoye, about 20 miles from Moscow, to take the way of the recovery and become one of the first churches in Russia. Later, the saints in Ramenskoye obtained a plot of land on which the work in Russia, through the giving of the saints mainly in the United States, built a blending facility to serve the needs of the churches in the Russian-speaking world. All these years the church in Ramenskoye has been meeting in this facility without a meeting hall of their own. The brothers in Russia all feel that it would be beneficial if the church in Ramenskoye could have its own meeting hall and the blending facility be used exclusively for the Lord's work in Russia.

A few years ago a plot of land next to the blending facility was purchased for the church there. The co-workers feel that it is now the right time to build a meeting hall on that land. The estimated construction cost is about $500,000. Saints in LA burdened to offer toward this need may do so through the Church in Los Angeles designated for “Ramenskoye Meeting Hall.”

Azerbaijan

Pray for the saints who will join a short-term training in Moscow that their eyes can be opened to see the vision of the church, renew their consecration, and serve the Lord together.

Concentrating on Christ for the Maturity in Life

“Whom we announce, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man full-grown in Christ.” (Col. 1:28)

“Seeing that His divine power has granted to us all things which relate to life and godliness, through the full knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and virtue.” (2 Pet. 1:3)

If we see the vision of the all-inclusiveness and extensiveness of Christ, we will concentrate our whole being on this Christ, and He will fill and saturate us. To us to live will be the Christ who takes possession of us and fills and occupies us with Himself. To be full-grown in Christ is to be filled, saturated, and permeated with Christ. This is the growth in life and the maturity in life, the issue of experiencing the Christ revealed in Colossians.

Life is within, enabling us to live, and godliness is without as the outward expression of the inward life. Life is the inward energy, the inward strength, to bring forth the outward godliness, which leads to and results in glory. Eventually, we will have the full development and maturity in life from the seed of faith, through the roots of virtue and knowledge, the trunk of self-control, and the branches of endurance and godliness, to the blossom and the fruit of brotherly love and love. (Laboring on the All-inclusive Christ Typified By the Good Land…, msg. 9, I.C.2, b, 3, b; V.A.1-2, C)

May we all concentrate our whole being on the all-inclusive Christ that He might bring us to the maturity in life and express Him in godliness and love.

Bibles for America

So far this year, Bibles for America has sent out over 65,000 free copies of the NT Recovery Version to people throughout the United States. Please pray that everyone who receives a copy would be helped to understand and experience the riches in God's Word. Pray that the recipients would grow in their faith and develop a taste for the ministry of life.

2024 Olympics Torch Relay Gospel Trips

Gospel trips to distribute the NT Recovery Version during the 2024 Paris Olympics began on May 6 and will continue until September 9. We praise and thank the Lord for an unprecedented openness and hunger among the French people. This openness is surely due—on heaven's side—to God's desire and—on earth's side—to the prayers of the saints in churches around the globe. The goal of these trips is to raise up lampstands in more French-speaking cities, so following up with contacts will be critical.

The sixth gospel trip is currently underway from May 31 to June 8 in two cities in the northwest of France—Rennes and Nantes. After a two-week pause while the torch travels to overseas French territories, the seventh trip will start June 24 in Strasbourg.

Please continue to pray for:

  • The fresh and detailed consecrations of all the saints going out, as well as their health and safety.
  • Local French speakers and their families, as a result of meeting us and speaking with us, to have a powerful hunger and desire to seek after God in His Word and pursue Him with those who call on Him out of a pure heart.
  • The follow-up shepherding of contacts from TR1–5 (Marseille, Montpellier, Toulouse, Bordeaux, and Caen), including a weekly Zoom seminar, through the coordination of both local and overseas saints.
  • The Lord to continue casting “fire” on French-speaking Europe and have His way for His testimony.
  • The Lord to thrust out the workers to labor with Him in France, not only during these gospel trips, but also afterwards.

For the saints' awareness and prayer, the following reports and testimonies are available:

More information is at www.amanatrust.org.uk/page/2024Paris. Saints in LA burdened to give for the distribution can do so through the Church in Los Angeles designated for “Paris Olympics.”

FTTL

The graduation of the Full-time Training in London's spring semester will take place at Bower House this Saturday, June 8. Please pray for the graduating trainees—whether they serve, work, or study—to continue in the things that they have learned and been assured of during their two years in the training.

Ramenskoye Meeting Hall

When the Lord's recovery came to the Russian-speaking world, the Lord raised up a group of Christians in Ramenskoye, about 20 miles from Moscow, to take the way of the recovery and become one of the first churches in Russia. Since the saints in Ramenskoye had been registered with the government since 1968, this registration allowed the churches in Russia to gain a solid legal standing. Later, the saints in Ramenskoye obtained a plot of land on which the work in Russia, through the giving of the saints mainly in the United States, built a blending facility to serve the needs of the churches in the Russian-speaking world. All the conferences, trainings, and blending meetings in Russia take place in that facility. The brothers and sisters in Ramenskoye also serve there in a practical way.

All these years the church in Ramenskoye has been meeting in the blending facility without a meeting hall of their own. The brothers in Russia all feel that it would be beneficial if the church in Ramenskoye could have its own meeting hall and the blending facility be used exclusively for the Lord's work in Russia. A few years ago a plot of land next to the blending facility was purchased for the church in Ramenskoye. The co-workers feel that it is the right time to build a meeting hall there. The estimated construction cost is about $500,000.

Taking Time to Absorb Christ

“Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you for a share of the allotted portion of the saints in the light.” (Col. 1:12)

“Having been rooted and being built up in Him…” (Col. 2:7)

Colossians 2:6-7 reveals that Christ as the good land, a land in which we do not lack anything, is the rich soil in which we have been rooted so that we may grow with the elements that we absorb from the soil. Day by day we need to take time to absorb Christ, the One into whom we have been planted; we must take time to enjoy the Lord as the all-inclusive land so that all the elements of Christ as the rich soil may be absorbed into us for us to be made full in Him in our experience. We need to forget our situation, our condition, our failures, and our weaknesses and simply take time to absorb the Lord.

As we take time to absorb Him, we grow with the growth of God in us for the building up of the Body of Christ. Our contact with the Lord should not be rushed; we must exercise our spirit to stay in the Lord's presence to absorb Him; we must spend more time to absorb the Lord—to adore Him, to praise Him, to offer thanks to Him, and to speak to Him freely. The growth of the Body depends on the growth of God, the increase of God, within us in a very subjective way; the growth of the Body is the growth of God's building; the actual building of the church is by the believers' growth in life. (Laboring on the All-inclusive Christ Typified By the Good Land…, msg. 8, II, B, 2; C, D)

The Christian Life

The Christian life is a life of living Christ; our living should be Christ, and the way to live Christ is to love Christ. We can live Christ by loving Christ to the uttermost; if we do not love Christ, we cannot live Him, and loving Him is the best way to concentrate our entire being on Him. The Christian life is a life of loving God and loving one another with God Himself as our love; Christ lived in this world a life of God as love, and He is now our life that we may live the same life of love in this world and be the same as He is in His lost-one-seeking and sinner-saving ministry journey.

In order to live the Christian life, we need to enjoy the flow of life out of the house of God. Our enjoyment of Christ as the flow of life is for us to be sowers, planters, waterers, begetters, feeders, and builders with the ministry of life for the marvelous organic building of God, the magnificent house of God. (Memorial Day Conference, msg. 1, I, A, E; msg. 5, I, II)

Please pray for the advance of the Lord's recovery based on His speaking in the Memorial Day Conference, that the burden released in the messages would be worked into and worked out through the saints in all the churches. Praise the Lord for His rich speaking!

The conference messages may still be accessed at no charge until June 26 at www.lsmwebcast.com.

UCLA Celebration Meeting

This Friday, May 31, we are having a special celebration meeting for our students at UCLA and nearby colleges along with the Hall 5 saints. This will be a joyous opportunity for students to share their top experiences of Christ from this past academic year, including a particular emphasis and recognition of the graduating seniors. Please pray for:

  • The Lord to gather our students together, including any ones who were new with us this past year.
  • The loving, Spirit-filled atmosphere to cherish everyone there, especially the graduating seniors who will be finishing their undergraduate careers.
  • The rich overflow of Christ through testimonies from all the students that would bring glory to the Lord for all that He has done.

FTTA

The deadline for Fall Term applications is this Friday, May 31. We are continuing to pray and trust in the Lord for His blessing on many young saints through the Full-time Training in Anaheim. In light of this week's deadline, please pray that the Lord would touch and lead many more college graduates and young working saints, especially from the United States and Canada, to consecrate themselves and apply to the FTTA. We expect that the Lord will increase the number in the Training through such prayers.

2024 Olympics Torch Relay Gospel Trips

We thank the Lord for a strong beginning to these gospel trips. So far, we have been amazed at the unprecedented openness and hunger among the French people. Since the goal of these trips is eventually to raise up lampstands in more French-speaking cities, following up with all the new contacts will be critical.

This week, the fifth and sixth gospel trips are taking place, respectively, May 25 to 31 in Caen and May 31 to June 8 in Rennes and Nantes. May the Lord continue to cast “fire” on French-speaking Europe and have His way there for His testimony!

Please pray for:

  • The fresh and detailed consecrations of all the saints going out, as well as their health and safety.
  • Local French speakers and their families, as a result of meeting us and speaking with us, to have a powerful hunger and desire to seek after God in His Word and pursue Him with those who call on Him out of a pure heart.
  • The follow-up shepherding of contacts from Marseille, Montpellier, Toulouse, and Bordeaux, including an ongoing series of Zoom seminars, through the coordination of both local and overseas saints.
  • The Lord to thrust out the workers to labor with Him in France, not only during these gospel trips, but especially afterwards.

A compilation of reports and testimonies from the first four trips for the saints' awareness and prayer is available at www.lordsmove.org/pdfs/FranceTorchRelayReports-27May2024.pdf. Application information is at www.amanatrust.org.uk/page/2024Paris. Saints in LA burdened to give for the distribution and associated expenses can do so through the Church in Los Angeles designated for “Paris Olympics.”

Cambodia

Pray for the new believers who were saved in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Battambang in April to be remaining fruits and building materials.

Knowing the Ascension

“But we see Jesus, who was made a little inferior to the angels because of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor…” (Heb. 2:9)

“And what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe…And He subjected all things under His feet and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, which is His Body, the fullness of the One who fills all in all.” (Eph. 1:19a, 22-23)

What God gave Christ to be is to the church; it is transmitted to the church. The church shares it. This corresponds to the word His power toward us in Ephesians 1:19. The phrase toward us is a key, for it also indicates a transmission.

Man condemned Christ and sentenced Him to death. But God came in to raise Him up, to seat Him in the heavens, to subject all things under His feet, and to give Him to be the Head over all things.

The best translation of the second part of Ephesians 1:22 is: “gave Him to be Head over all things to the church.” If Paul had concluded Ephesians 1 by saying that God gave Christ to be Head over all things, Christ's ascension would not have anything to do with the church. Paul, however, added the important phrase to the church…Whatever Christ, the Head, has attained and obtained is transmitted to the church, His Body.

The church should continually receive this transmission. Electricity may be installed in a building once for all, but the transmission of electricity takes place continually. Likewise, God raised up Christ, seated Him in the heavens, put everything under His feet, and gave Him the great gift of being the Head over all things. Now whatever Christ is in His ascension is being transmitted into the church. This is the continual transmission into the church of the ascended Christ with the full significance of His ascension. (Life-study of Luke, 2nd ed., pp. 646, 649-650)

This week, the fourth and fifth gospel trips are taking place, respectively, May 20 to 25 in Bordeaux and May 25 to 31 in Caen.

Please pray for:

  • The fresh and detailed consecrations of all the saints going out.
  • The Lord's casting “fire” on French-speaking Europe.
  • Many divine appointments to take place for the Lord to gain local French speakers and their families.
  • The Lord's testimony in Bordeaux to be strengthened and a lampstand in Caen to be raised up.

Ukraine

Pray that the Lord will protect the tripartite being of all the saints and will rule in the heavens over every aspect of this conflict so that the result will advance His economy on earth.

Entering into God's Rest

“And on the seventh day God finished His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.” (Gen. 2:2)

“Come to Me all who toil and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matt. 11:28)

God rested on the seventh day because He had finished His work and was satisfied; God's glory was manifested because man had His image, and His authority with His dominion was about to be exercised for the subduing of His enemy. When there is a situation on earth in which man expresses God and represents God, that situation is a Sabbath rest to God…

God's seventh day was man's first day; after man was created, he did not join in God's work, but he entered into God's rest; man was created not to work but to be satisfied with God and rest with God. The Sabbath signifies that God has done everything, completed everything, and prepared everything and that man must stop all his work; to keep the Sabbath is to stop our work and to take God and all that He has accomplished for us as our enjoyment, rest, and satisfaction…

As God's people, we should bear a sign that we rest with God, enjoy God, are refreshed with God, and are filled up with God first; then we work together with the very One who fills us in oneness with Him; this is an eternal covenant, and eternal contract, with God. (Laboring on the All-inclusive Christ Typified by the Good Land…, msg. 6, I.A, B, C, D, IV.F, G)

Let us pray for all the saints to first come to the Lord to rest with Him, enjoy Him, and be refreshed by Him in order to labor with Him to carry out His heart's desire!

University Campuses

Please pray for the God of peace to rule on the university campuses to make the situation and atmosphere conducive to the preaching of the gospel and to cause the students' hearts to be open to God and to His truth.

The teams on these three trips consist of FTTA-XB trainees and serving ones in coordination with saints from other French-speaking localities.

Please pray for:

  • The fresh and detailed consecrations of all the saints going out.

The Sacrificing Christ, Cheering God and Others

“And walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor.” (Eph. 5:2)

“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.” (Rom. 12:1b)

The vine typifies the sacrificing Christ, the Christ who sacrificed everything of Himself, and out of His sacrifice He produced new wine to cheer God and man. Under the Lord's sovereignty, we may be put into situations where we need to sacrifice ourselves to make others happy. If in the midst of such a situation we contact the Lord, we will experience Him as the wine-producing vine, as the One who gives cheer to God and to others. In ourselves we are not able to live a life of sacrifice, for our life is a natural life, a selfish life. Only the life of Christ is a life of sacrifice. Christ as the sacrificing Lamb lives in us, energizing us to sacrifice ourselves for others to bring them cheer and to make God happy. The more we experience Christ as the vine with His sacrificing life, the more we will be energized to sacrifice ourselves to make God and others happy. We will be “drunken” with happiness, realizing that the happiest person is the one who is the most unselfish. (Laboring on the All-inclusive Christ Typified by the Good Land…, msg. 5, I, II.A, A.1, C, C.1-3, 3.a-b)

Let us pray for all the saints, in the midst of various circumstances, to contact the Lord who is living in us and energizing us to live a life of sacrifice to cheer God and others. May our church life be filled with rejoicing in the Lord based upon our experience of this sacrificing Christ!

Inhaling and Exhaling the Word of God

“All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable…that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

Being a fully equipped man of God with the breath of God requires the exercise of our spirit, the continual receiving of the Spirit, and the breathing in of God's word. A fully equipped man of God reads the Bible by means of all prayer and petition in the spirit to inhale God and ministers the word as the Spirit to exhale God into others. On God's side, the Bible is God's breathing; on our side, the Bible is for us to receive the breath of God as our profit…The issue of God's breathing out of Himself through the Scripture for teaching, conviction, correction, and instruction in righteousness is that the man of God becomes complete, fully equipped for every good work. (ITERO msg. 5, I.D, II.A.2, II.B,C)

Lord, increase our inhaling and exhaling of Your Word that each of us may be fully equipped to be a functioning member in the good work of building Your Body to prepare for Your coming.

SoCal College Meeting

This Saturday evening, May 11, there will be a Praise and Ministry Meeting in Cypress for college students throughout Southern California. Please pray for a high number of students from many campuses to attend (including many newer ones), for the Spirit to flow mightily in this time, and for the word to be richly imparted into the students!

Bibles for America

Due to the ongoing instability in and around the Suez Canal, our next shipment of 25,000 Spanish copies of the NT Recovery Version has been delayed from May until the end of August. We currently only have about 100 Spanish copies left in our inventory. After prayer and fellowship, we have decided to continue allowing people to place orders for the Spanish copies while informing them it may take 3 to 4 months to arrive. In the meantime, we will send them a free copy of the Recovery Version of The Gospel of John which includes all the footnotes, cross-references, and outline points.

Please pray that this Bible shipment would not be delayed any further so that we can resume fulfilling orders for the Spanish NT as soon as possible. Pray also that everyone who places an order would dive into the riches in the book of John and be sanctified in the Word as they wait for their full NT to arrive.

2024 Olympics Torch Relay Gospel Trips

Last weekend's conference in Paris, May 3 to 5, was a wonderful gathering and blending of around 300 saints from 21 countries, including French-speaking saints from France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. The conference consisted of five messages on “Fighting the Good Fight, Finishing the Course, Keeping the Faith, and Loving the Lord's Appearing in order to Receive the Reward of Christ as the Crown of Righteousness” along with the Lord's table. It was a timely and encouraging speaking particularly for the churches in the French-speaking world.

During the Olympic Torch Relay we are preparing to till the ground in many major cities along the route of the relay. We pray that during this time, Christ's triumphal procession will move from city to city all over France (2 Cor. 2:14). The first two Torch Relay Gospel Trips are happening May 6 to 11 in Marseille and May 11 to 15 in Montpellier. The teams consist of FTTA-XB trainees and serving ones in coordination with saints from other French-speaking localities. Please pray for:

  • The fresh and detailed consecrations of all the saints going out.
  • A strong beginning to this series of gospel trips, including the gaining of experiences that might benefit subsequent trips.
  • Many divine appointments to take place for the Lord to gain local French speakers and their families.
  • The Lord's testimony in Marseille and Montpellier to be raised up.

Saints in LA burdened to give for the distribution and associated expenses can do so through the Church in Los Angeles designated for “Paris Olympics.”

Italy

A conference will take place in Rome this weekend, May 11 to 12. Please pray for the Lord's rich speaking and blessing on this conference to strengthen His testimony in this key European city and further His move in Italy and Europe.

Fanning Our Spirit into Flame

“Fan into flame the gift of God…For God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power and of love and of sobermindedness.” (2 Tim. 1:6)

The spiritual gift is in our spirit. There is fire in our regenerated spirit, which is indwelt by the Holy Spirit. Actually, we may say that our spirit is the fire.

If you want to fan your spirit into flame, you need to open up your mouth, open up your heart, and open up your spirit. You need to open these three layers of your being. You have to use your mouth to say, “O Lord Jesus.” But then you have to go deeper by using your mouth with your heart to say, “O Lord Jesus.” Then you need to go even deeper by using your mouth with your heart and with your spirit to say, “O Lord Jesus.” This is to open up your spirit from deep within. Then the fire burns. (CWWL, 1993, vol. 2, “The Exercise of Our Spirit,” pp. 183-184)

Let us pray for all of us in the church in Los Angeles to build up a strong habit in our daily life of exercising our spirit, fanning our God-given spirit into flame. May we live the normal church life by pursuing Christ with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Flowing Forth in Valleys and in Mountains

“For Jehovah your God is bringing you to a good land, a land of waterbrooks, of springs and of fountains, flowing forth in valleys and in mountains.” (Deut. 8:7)

“For we who are alive are always being delivered unto death for Jesus' sake that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So then death operates in us, but life in you.” (2 Cor. 4:11-12)

“He who loves his soul-life loses it; and he who hates his soul-life in this world shall keep it unto eternal life.” (John 12:25)

The all-inclusive Christ as the all-inclusive Spirit is “a land of waterbrooks, of springs and of fountains, flowing forth in valleys and in mountains.” The water “flowing forth in valleys and in mountains” indicates that Christ as the living water flows in different environments. The valleys are the experiences of the cross, the experiences of the death of Christ, and the mountains are the experiences of Christ's resurrection.

Jesus, in a positive sense, is always killing all the negative things within us in order to heal and enliven us. When we reject ourselves in the morning to receive God into us, we have the sense during the day that a killing process is going on within us. The killing of the cross results in the manifestation of the resurrection life. This daily killing is for the release of the divine life in resurrection. The Lord, as a grain of wheat that fell into the ground, lost His soul-life through death that He might release His eternal life in resurrection to the many grains. As the many grains, we also must lose our soul-life through death that we may enjoy eternal life in resurrection. (Laboring on the All-inclusive Christ Typified by the Good Land…, msg. 4, II, III, A, C.1-2, D.1, E.2)

Semiannual Training Live Registrations

The deadline to register for the in-person July Semiannual Training, July 1 to 6, in Anaheim ($205) is Tuesday, April 30. Late registrations will not be accepted. For LA saints, sign up and payment instructions are at tinyurl.com/summertrainingla. Registrations for our local video trainings are due later on June 16.

May the Lord grant us to treasure these trainings and seize every opportunity to attend them not only to see the intrinsic essence of the divine revelation but also to serve as a proper audience for the unhindered release of the crystals in the Word of God. May we all, by the Lord's mercy, highly value and enter into all the divine truths in the Word that He has released through His ministry by means of the life-study and crystallization-study trainings until we are constituted with these truths, enjoy the Lord as life according to these truths, and minister Him to others for the fulfillment of God's eternal purpose to produce and build up the Body of Christ, consummating in the New Jerusalem. (“The History and Significance of the Life-study and Crystallization-study Trainings,” April 2022 issue of "Having This Ministry…")

Please ask the Lord to release as many saints as possible to participate in His speaking to the churches in this training!

Sixth Grade Conference

This weekend, May 3 to 5, the Southern California Sixth Grade Conference will be held in person at Oak Glen. Pray for the preparation of all the sixth graders in the Southern California churches for this time of being infused with the precious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for the Lord to be with all the speaking brothers, to anoint them with the Spirit and give them the utterance to speak a word that will penetrate the hearts of the sixth graders. Pray that the parents and the serving ones will be in one accord to pray for the children and to care for them in the best way, so that the Lord will have the way to dynamically save them and gain them for His purpose.

West Coast Korean-speaking Conference

There will be a West Coast Korean-speaking Conference this weekend via Zoom. The two sessions about “God's Economy in Faith” are Saturday, May 4, 6:00 to 9:20 pm and Lord's Day, May 5, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. The detailed schedule and access information are at tinyurl.com/2024westcoast.

Please pray for the Lord to fully release His burden through this re-speaking of the messages from the recent International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones.

Paris Conference and Torch Relay Gospel Trips

A conference will be held this weekend, May 3 to 5, in Paris, France. The conference consists of five messages on “Fighting the Good Fight, Finishing the Course, Keeping the Faith, and Loving the Lord's Appearing in order to Receive the Reward of Christ as the Crown of Righteousness” along with the Lord's table. Please pray that all the saints would enter into the up-to-date ministry of the age and touch the up-to-date burden for the Lord's move.

Then, starting on May 6 in Marseille and concluding on July 17 in Paris, nine gospel trips have been planned in many major cities along the route of the Olympic Torch Relay. Please pray that during this time, Christ's triumphal procession will move from city to city all over France (2 Cor. 2:14). Pray for all the logistics of the Bible distributions—that they would arrive on time and at the right destinations, and for all necessary municipal authorizations to be approved—and for many divine appointments to take place for the Lord to gain local French speakers along with their families.

The April 2024 issue of LSM's newsletter explains the current burden in the Lord's move in French-speaking Europe at newsletters.lsm.org/having-this-ministry. Application for gospel trips is at www.amanatrust.org.uk/page/2024Paris. Saints in LA burdened to give for the distribution and associated expenses can do so through the Church in Los Angeles designated for “Paris Olympics.”

Warsaw, Poland

A conference will also take place in Warsaw this weekend, May 3 to 5. Please pray for the saints' attendance and the release of the Lord's burden and supply in this conference.
