Answering God's Call to Turn the Age through Prayer

"And of the children of Issachar, men who understood the times that they might know what Israel should do…" (1 Chron. 12:32)

"So I set my face toward the Lord God to seek Him in prayer and supplications with fasting and sackcloth and ashes." (Dan. 9:3)

People on earth are suffering calamities, and the churches are in hardship; this is not the age of God's heart's desire but the age of God's procedures. God is using His procedures to fulfill His heart's desire. To turn from the age of procedures to the age of God's heart's desire, man must pray the age-turning prayer. Daniel was such a man. The earth is suffering calamities because people on the earth do not want God and do not care for God's affairs. Therefore, if the saints are to pray to end the time of calamities, they must answer God's demands and care for God and His needs. Oh! These many calamities today should wake us up to no longer live to the earth! Oh! Today we should truly consecrate ourselves to answer God's demands on behalf of the church so that God may have a way to come in and to turn this age of procedures into the age of His heart's desire. (CWWL, 1932–1949, vol. 2, p. 27)

Labor Day Weekend Blending Conference

From September 4 to 6, the churches in the entire state of California will blend together in an online conference. Such a conference of all the churches in California is unprecedented and should be a further advance in the blending of the entire Body for the Lord's unique testimony.

The four meetings will be conducted online and will include both spoken messages and breakout sessions for mutual sharing and blending of all the saints. Translation of the messages and all special fellowship will be provided in Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish. Details regarding the meeting schedule and links to join the meetings for each language can be found at <http://www.labordayconf.com>.

Let us sanctify the Labor Day weekend by setting aside our time and presenting our tripartite beings to hear what the Spirit would speak to the churches. May the Lord infuse us with His words and His burden for His present move and interests on the earth.

Prayer, Week of August 16

Prayer with Authority by Having Full Faith

"And Jesus answered and said to them, Have faith in God." (Mark 11:22)

"And He told them a parable to the end that they ought always to pray and not lose heart." (Luke 18:1)

In Mark 11:20-24 the Lord Jesus taught His disciples to pray by faith for executing God's will according to God's economy. This prayer is a prayer with authority. A prayer with authority does not ask God to do something; instead, it exercises God's authority and applies this authority to deal with problems and things that ought to be removed. The church can have such a prayer with authority by having full faith, being without doubt, and being clear that what we do is fully according to God's will. (A Timely Word, msg. 4, I, D, 1, 4)

God is watching to see whether the church is faithful to its ministry. The ministry of the church is prayer—not small prayers, but prayers that pioneer the way for God. God is accomplishing His work. But the church first prays and prepares the way before God finds the way. The church must have big prayers, serious prayers, and strong prayers. (CWWN, vol. 22, "The Prayer Ministry of the Church," ch. 1)

Our Young People

On July 30 the church in LA held an online meeting attended by more than a hundred young people, parents and serving ones. The burden was to incite the YP to care for others in the church—for example, the high schoolers would care for junior highers, and junior highers would care for the children.

This Saturday, August 22 at 7:30 pm, SCYP will begin its 2020 Fall Advance for all the young people, parents, and serving ones in Southern California. The subject of the first session will be "A Time to Remember and Rejoice in Our God of Tenderheartedness and Lovingkindness." For more information on how to participate in this time, visit http://www.scyp.com/fall-advance.

Most of our young people return to school this week. Pray that they would experience the Lord's love and compassions so that they would spontaneously care for others. Please contact and pray for our YP as they continue their schooling from home.

LA Campuses

USC classes begin on August 17, CSUN on August 24, and UCLA has been having online orientations throughout the summer. Please pray for the students, serving ones, and those related to the campus in their outreach to new students, which is much different than in previous years.

LA Ministry & Gospel Meetings

On August 16, we began a new series of the English-speaking Ministry & Gospel meeting called "Genesis: A Book of Seeds." The first session was on "Image and Dominion." The burden of these meetings is to reach our friends and family as well as the younger ones in the church through an approachable ministering of the word. Furthermore, we will proceed with a particular sensitivity to new ones that we contact in the coming weeks from the campus work.

Saints, let us all reconsider before the Lord whom we can shepherd to these times. All saints are welcome to invite guests and accompany them to this time. The Zoom link is http://tinyurl.com/lachurchmeeting. Videos from previous meetings may also be viewed and shared at any time at http://youtube.com/churchinlosangeles.

May we help the white horse run through our prayers and invitations. Lord, expand Your burden for the gospel in our hearts to multiply Your testimony in Los Angeles!

European University Training

The university training, usually held in London, will take place August 23 to 27 and be expanded to include all of Europe. Given the present environment, the training will also be delivered online. The subject, "Samuel—An Age-Turning Nazarite," will be a timely and relevant word.

Announcements

  1. Morning Revival: Week 4 of A Timely Word Concerning the World Situation and the Lord's Recovery (from the Memorial Day Conference).
  2. Labor Day Weekend Blending Conference: The churches in the entire state of California will blend together in an online conference from September 4 to 6. There will be four meetings. Details regarding the schedule and the way to join will be announced in the coming weeks..

The Divine History Within the Human History

"…Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be fashioned according to this age." (Rom. 12:1-2a)

"That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit into the inner man, that Christ may make His home in your hearts through faith." (Eph. 3:16-17a)

We need to have a clear view of these two histories—the physical human history and the mysterious divine history… The history of man, the history of the world, is outward. The divine history, the history of God in and with humanity, is inward. This history is a matter of the divine mystery of the Triune God in humanity.

We all were born in the human history, but we have been reborn, regenerated, in the divine history. Now we need to ask ourselves this question: Are we living in the divine history, or are we living merely in the human history? If our living is in the world, we are living in the human history. But if we are living in the church, we are living in the divine history. In the church life God's history is our history. Now two parties—God and we—have one history, the divine history. This is the church life.

With the divine history there is the new creation—the new man with a new heart, a new spirit, a new life, a new nature, a new history, and a new consummation. We praise the Lord that we are in the divine history, experiencing and enjoying the mysterious, divine things. (Life-study of Joel, p. 36)

LA Ministry & Gospel Meetings

The English-speaking Ministry & Gospel meetings will resume this Lord's Day, August 16, from 11:00 to 11:45 am. The series topic is "Genesis: A Book of Seeds" with a particular burden to reach our friends and family as well as the younger ones in the church through an approachable ministering of the word. Furthermore, we will proceed with a particular sensitivity to new ones that we contact from the campus work at the beginning of the academic year.

Saints, let us all reconsider before the Lord whom we can shepherd to these outreach times. All saints are welcome to invite guests and accompany them to this time. The Zoom link is http://tinyurl.com/lachurchmeeting. Videos from previous meetings may also be viewed and shared at any time at http://youtube.com/churchinlosangeles.

The Fall 2020 term of the FTTA will be conducted remotely and begins August 26. Oak Glen

Update: As of this past weekend, the forest fire has moved away from the conference center. On Friday, the evacuation orders for the property were lifted, though some fire crews remain in the area. We are thankful to the Lord for answering the prayers of the Body.

Lord's Move to Africa

The August 2020 online newsletter introduces the Lord's move in the southern part of the African continent. Lampstands have been established in five of the ten countries in this region with approximately 1,500 saints in the church life in 25 localities. While Lampstands have yet to be raised up in Botswana, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Malawi, Mozambique and Namibia. there are already some saints following the ministry in these places. Read more at http://www.lmafrica.org/newsletter.

Please pray for:

  1. The spread of the gospel of the kingdom to this region which has a predominantly Christian population.
  2. The strengthening of the existing testimonies through perfecting, blending and (post-pandemic) visitations.
  3. The Lord to gain the young people and equip them through training to become pillars in the churches.

Seeing the Spiritual Scene behind the World Situation

"And he said to me, Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand this matter..., your words were heard; and I have come because of your words." (Dan. 10:12)

"Epaphras, who is one of you, a slave of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God." (Col. 4:12)

The spiritual scene in Daniel 10 includes both good and evil spirits that are engaged in an invisible spiritual war. While Daniel was praying, a spiritual struggle was taking place in the air between two spirits, one belonging to Satan and the other belonging to God. It is crucial for us to see that behind the scene a spiritual struggle is taking place, a struggle not seen with human eyes. As the struggles are taking place between the human governments, God is behind the scene managing the world situation. (A Timely Word, msg. 2, II.B-C)

Pray that the saints would be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength to be able to stand in the battle against all the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenlies. (Beseeching.org, Day 34)

Pray that we will see a spiritual vision of the throne of God as the center of God's administration throughout the universe and see the ruling of the heavens by the God of the heavens over all human government on earth to match the eternal economy of God for Christ to do two great things: (1) to terminate the old creation for the germination of the new creation through His first coming, and (2) to smash and crush the aggregate of human government and establish the eternal kingdom of God in His second coming. (Beseeching.org, Day 4)

Oak Glen

The Apple Fire is currently burning near our conference center in Oak Glen. The property is now included in the mandatory evacuation zone and all of the saints living on the property have moved off the mountain. Initially, the wind caused the fire to burn away from the conference center, but changing winds over the weekend have caused the fire to progress slowly towards it. We ask that the churches would pray for the Lord to protect His interest at the conference center and that the fire would be kept away and be brought under control by the fire crews.

Bibles for America

Bibles for America has been collecting survey responses from those who order a Bible or download a ministry book. This will help us refine our marketing strategy and reach more young people between the ages of 18 and 24. We're also producing short gospel videos to post on social media that will hopefully capture the attention of young seekers.

Please pray for our new content and the fine-tuning of our marketing. Pray that more young seekers would find our blog posts, videos, podcast episodes, and, most importantly, would order a free copy of the NT Recovery Version.

Kyrgyzstan

Many saints in Kyrgyzstan, including most of the leading brothers, have contracted coronavirus infections. This has affected not only their health but also their ability to earn a living. Please pray that all their needs will be met and that the Lord will sustain the churches in that country, which are crucial to His testimony in Central Asia.

Prayer for the Current Situation

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States and around the globe, please pray:

  1. For the Lord to protect all His interests on earth, including the saints and the churches;
  2. For the saints and churches to be open to what the Lord will accomplish during this time;
  3. For the saints to persevere in prayer for the Lord's final move to end this age; and
  4. For the gospel of the kingdom to be proclaimed and the hearts of many men to be open to receive it.

Persevering in Prayer While Discerning the Signs of the Times

"But we will continue steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the word." (Acts 6:4)

"...The gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come." (Matt. 24:14)

In the present environment of the world, we need to devote ourselves to and persevere in prayer, while discerning "the signs of the times." We need to pray with the full realization of God's view of human history by seeing that the gospel is speeded up and even maximized by war, famine, and death and by seeing that we need to gain God to the fullest extent to accomplish the goal of His divine economy.

God will listen to our prayer when our prayer to God is toward Christ, the kingdom of God, and the house of God as the goal in God's eternal economy. This means that our prayer should always be aimed at the interests of God, that is, at Christ and the church as God's interests on earth, for the fulfilling of God's eternal economy. (A Timely Word concerning the World Situation and the Lord's Recovery, msg. 1, V, B, C.2)

Pray that we will be in our spirit in order to be men on earth with God's heart, men to whom heaven can be opened to see the vision of God concerning the destiny of the world, who see that the world situation is the indicator of God's move on earth, and who realize that all the major events of human history have been arranged and matched by God in His sovereign authority for His move on earth. (Beseeching.org, Day 1)

European Young People's Conference

The European Young People's Conference is being held online in four parts over a different time period than normal. Part 3 begins this Friday afternoon and ends Monday evening; it is the main part of this year's conference. Corporate meetings will be held every afternoon and evening with activities in the mornings, as well as group times. Please pray for this conference, for the gathering of the young people, and for the release of the serving ones.

Lord's Move to Africa

The theme of the June 2020 online newsletter is "Church Life Under the Pandemic" and features encouraging reports from Ethiopia, Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa. Meeting Together – Our Need and God's Need

"Not abandoning our own assembling together… but exhorting one another; and so much the more as you see the day drawing near." (Heb. 10:25)

"But if all prophesy and some unbeliever or unlearned person enters, he is convicted by all, he is examined by all; the secrets of his heart become manifest; and so falling on his face, he will worship God, declaring that indeed God is among you." (1 Cor. 14:24-25)

When we come together, our intention may be to pray, to worship, to serve, to hear a message, to be taught, to be exhorted, to be strengthened, to be comforted, and to be encouraged. This is our understanding. Actually, with our meetings there are so many wonderful things underneath the surface. We gain a lot of benefits and profit that we do not realize by participating in the meetings.

To meet together is not a small thing…. Here we know the will of God, here we do the will of God, and eventually we will fulfill His purpose. (CWWL, 1982, vol. 1, "Experiencing Christ as the Offerings for the Church Meetings," pp. 488, 490-491)

Pray that the saints would be daily strengthened in their spirit by the exercise of their spirit in their daily living so that they can freely release their spirit in all kinds of meetings to minister life to one another, with the result that the saints would be mingled and blended together and the church would be built up (Eph. 3:16-19). (http://www.Beseeching.org, Day 28)

Labor in Coordination with God's Divine Labor

"No plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up—for Jehovah God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to work the ground." (Gen. 2:5)

If you do nothing, God cannot do anything, for He needs human labor to cooperate with His divine labor. What is the use of the rain [the Spirit] coming down if there is no man to till the ground? If, as a man, you have tilled the ground, you have the right to pray, "Lord, I am here. Send the rain."

We must labor in coordination with God's divine labor. Day and night we must pray for our relatives and our friends. We must work on them. Then the rain will come. If we do not cooperate with God by tilling the ground, the rain will never come. God does not waste His rain. When it comes, it comes to produce life. (Life-Study of Genesis, ch. 10, sec. 4)

FTTA – Summer Interim Fellowship

This fellowship will be once a week with current and incoming trainees for both Anaheim and Boston. Though these times are not mandatory, we hope that the times of fellowship would be one of encouragement, nourishment, and a way to provide updates for the coming term for the trainees.

Berlin, Germany

Please pray to bind opposition and to loose the complete mailing so that the tracts will reach all the households in a timely way and that many will receive the gospel and be added to the church.

Prayer for the Current Situation

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States and around the globe, please pray:

  1. For the Lord to protect all His interests on earth, including the saints and the churches;
  2. For the saints and churches to be open to what the Lord will accomplish during this time;
  3. For the saints to persevere in prayer for the Lord's final move to end this age; and

Taking the Lord's Yoke upon Us to Find Rest for Our Souls

"Come to Me all who toil and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Matt. 11:28-30)

The Lord's yoke is the Father's will, and His burden is the work of carrying out the Father's will. Such a yoke is easy, not bitter, and such a burden is light, not heavy. If we take the Lord's yoke (the Father's will) upon us and learn from Him, we will find rest for our souls. The yoke of God's economy is like this; everything in God's economy is not a heavy burden but an enjoyment. (The Will of God, msg. 7, I.J,L)

North America College Training

The NACT Online continues this week and concludes with a webinar on Saturday, July 18. Please pray for the Lord to gain all the trainees for their participation in turning the age. Specifically pray that:

  1. the trainees would pray like Samuel's mother to echo the heart's desire of God.
  2. the trainees would offer themselves to be today's Nazarites—to be voluntarily sanctified and separated to God for His purpose by enjoying Christ as the unique Nazarite in their spirit.
  3. the trainees would respond to God's call to be His faithful priests—to open themselves to the Lord and let Him fill them, saturate them, and be one with them.
  4. the trainees would respond to God's call to be His prophets—to speak for God and speak forth God to dispense Him to others for the building up of the church.
  5. the trainees would respond to God's call to be men of prayer—to cooperate with God to pray for the accomplishment of His will on earth.
  6. the Lord would raise up many who would answer His demands and care for Him and His needs so that He may have a way to come in and turn this age of procedures into the age of His heart's desire.
  7. the Lord would gain a proper response from each trainee, and that His speaking to each trainee would continue to operate effectually in their lives in the days, months, and years after this training.

GTCA

In the midst of these turbulent times, a fresh burden has stirred in the hearts of the co-workers, leading brothers, and saints in the churches to gospelize, truthize, and churchize North America.

Our Brother Witness Lee considered not only the US as a whole, but, more specifically, Middle America to be most strategic for the Lord's interest. He hoped that a good number of saints would be led to migrate to many cities and states in America's heartland, to gain a solid increase for His testimony and bring in a great blessing.

Please pray that many families and full-timers will continue to respond to the call to go to the 10 GTCA cities this year to strengthen the Lord's testimony in Middle America. Please also pray that all the practical needs would be met for all of those who are in the process of migrating to these cities.

Midwest: Cincinnati, OH; Lexington, KY; Minneapolis, MN; St. Louis, MO
Southeast: Charlotte, NC; Columbia, SC; Memphis, TN; Orlando, FL
Mid-Atlantic: Pittsburgh, PA; Richmond, VA

Prayer for the Current Situation

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States and elsewhere, please pray 1) for the Lord to protect all His interests on earth, including the saints and the churches; 2) for the saints and churches to be open to what the Lord will accomplish in a new way during this time; 3) for the saints to persevere in prayer for the Lord's final move to end this age; and 4) for the gospel of the kingdom to be proclaimed and the hearts of many men to be open to receive it.

Chinese-Speaking Saints' Perfecting Training

The serving saints' training is Saturday and Lord's Day, July 18-19 and Saturday, July 25. The subject is "Living and Serving in the Oneness and the One Accord of the Body of Christ." The students' training is Monday to Friday, July 20 to 24. The subject is the same as the college training, "The Intrinsic Significance of Samuel—the Nazarite."

Please pray that saints will come with an exercised spirit to receive the word and that the Sprint will have an unhindered way to gain us and to prepare us as age turners to bring the Lord back.

Three meetings on July 18 and 25 will be open for all the saints, with English translation; visit http://bit.ly/2020CSPT_infopage_english for details.

Nordic-Baltic Conference

This year's Nordic-Baltic Conference will take place online from July 17 to 19. This conference is a yearly highlight for the saints in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland, as well as for those in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Please pray for the Lord's speaking and rich supply at the conference and for gospel contacts and newer saints who have been invited to attend.

His Compassions Are New Every Morning

"It is Jehovah's lovingkindness that we are not consumed, for His compassions do not fail; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." (Lam. 3:22-23)

Jeremiah wrote Lamentations shortly after Jerusalem had been destroyed and the people and precious things of the temple had been carried away to Babylon.

Even in this negative situation verse 23a indicates that Jeremiah contacted the Lord as the compassionate One every morning. It was through his contact with the Lord that he received the word regarding God's lovingkindness, compassions, and faithfulness. (Crystallization-study outlines, msg 7, III.B.4.a-b)

In this training we received much truth from Jeremiah and Lamentations. Our need now is to receive the Lord's shining to apply these truths to our inner being that we may be reconstituted with Christ to be God's enlargement and expression. For this, may our compassionate Lord lead us to contact Him every day to receive His living word.

North America College Training

The English-speaking summer college training is July 10 to 18, in a combination of large online presentations and small group digestion. The training will center on the burden concerning Samuel the Nazarite. The goal is to supply college students with a vision, equip them with truth, help them in their experience of life, perfect them in the preaching of the gospel, and develop their character so they can become useful vessels for the building up of the Body of Christ. More at <http://www.collegetraining.org/2020>.

Lord, gain and equip many students to be Your age-turning Nazarites!

SSOT 2020

"If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." (John 8:31b-32)

At the end of June, we concluded three weeks of the Summer School of Truth, which had three lines of fellowship, one for each of three age groups: God's Full Salvation, The Two Spirits, and The Church. There were also daily activities and special fellowships. Please pray that our young people would continue holding to truth in love, that they may grow up into Him in all things (Eph. 4:15) and remain in what they have seen and heard. Pray also that the care and shepherding of our young people would continue through the summer.

Bibles for America – Gospel Videos

We are continuing to create new gospel videos. There is a new video called "Jesus: The Real Solution to Our Problem," which is based on the BfA tract "Only Jesus Can Heal You." This video illustrates how Jesus' redeeming death is the real solution to our condition, and how He desires to live in us to be our rescue from sin. You can easily share this and other videos, and tracts and podcasts, by visiting <http://gospel.bfa.org>, scrolling down to what you want to share, and clicking on the icons to send via text message, email, or social media. You can also share this link: <http://biblesforamerica.org/videos/jesus-the-solution-to-our-real-problem/>.

Poland

The first round of the Polish presidential election was June 28. The runoff is July 12. "The Most High is the Ruler over the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever He wills" (Dan. 4:17). Lord, rule over the election in Poland for Your move in Europe!

Berlin, Germany

The mass mailing of tracts to all households in Berlin has still not been fully accomplished. Please pray to bind and loose so that the tracts will reach all the households in a timely way and that many will receive the gospel and be added to the church.

Pakistan and Bangladesh

The churches in both nations experienced spiritual blessings from their participation in global prayer.

Drink from the Fountain of Living Waters

"For My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew out for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns, which hold no water." (Jer. 2:13)

Jeremiah, a book full of speaking concerning Israel's sin and God's wrath, chastisement, and punishment, reveals that God's intention in His economy is to be the fountain, the source, of living waters to dispense Himself into His chosen people for their satisfaction and enjoyment. The goal of this enjoyment is to produce the church, God's counterpart, as God's increase, God's enlargement, to be God's fullness for His expression (John 3:29-30; Eph. 3:16-19, 21). This is the heart's desire, the good pleasure, of God in His economy (Eph. 1:5, 9; 3:9-11). (Jer. 2:13, footnote 1)

Semiannual Video Training – Jeremiah and Lamentations

Thank the Lord that the number from LA attending this training is much larger than previous trainings. Pray for the release and receiving of the word in the messages, fellowship times, and testing. Pray also for more blending of the halls in LA during these meetings, and for many additional saints to join the open meetings.

North America College Training

The North America College Training will take place online from July 10 to 18. The topic is "Samuel the Nazarite." We believe that in the midst of the upheaval in the world situation, the Lord will speak a special word to this generation of college students to be today's Nazarites, separated and consecrated unto the Lord, to meet His need. Please pray for all the outward arrangements and inward preparation.

The Will of God – Our Sanctification

"And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, who also will do it." (1 Thes. 5:23-24)

The God of peace is the Sanctifier; His sanctification brings in peace; when we are wholly sanctified by Him from within, we have peace with Him and with man in every way. God desires to sanctify us, and He Himself will do it as long as we are willing to pursue Him as holiness and cooperate with Him; in this way we can be holy as He is holy (1 Pet. 1:15-16). (The Will of God, msg. 5, VI.A,B)

Lord, that Your will would be done, sanctify us wholly!

Semiannual Video Training – Jeremiah and Lamentations

Prayer for all the practical preparations, for the rich supply to the speaking brothers, and for all the saints to be inwardly prepared. We begin Monday night, June 29 at 7:30 pm.

A House of Prayer

"...the house of God, which is the church of the living God…" (1 Tim. 3:15m)

"He said to them, It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer'." (Matt. 21:13)

The Lord's word indicates that prayer should be a primary characteristic of the church, not only in prayer meetings but also in the life of all the members. http://Beseeching.org is helpful.

Lord, raise us up to be Your house of persevering prayer.

LA Gospel – Our Obligation

"I am debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to wise and to foolish; so, for my part, I am ready to announce the gospel to you also who are in [Los Angeles]." (Rom. 1:14)

Preaching the gospel is the primary obligation of Christians to society. In Mark 16:15 the Lord charged us to "go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to all the creation."

The Lord Jesus said, "Go therefore and disciple all the nations" (Matt. 28:19). All the nations refers to every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. The first commission we bear before God is to preach the gospel. If we do not preach the gospel, we are not fulfilling our obligation. Paul says that he was a debtor (Rom. 1:14). As long as our obligation is not fulfilled, we are debtors. WL, Guidelines for the Propagation of the Lord's Recovery, chap. 5, sec. 1

Lord, fill our hearts with a desire for the gospel to spread in Los Angeles! And send us out!

FTTA Graduation

The virtual graduation for the FTTA Spring Class of 2020 is this Saturday, June 27 at 10:00 am. The presentation will last approximately 1.5 hours. The link will be posted at http://www.ftta.org. Please pray:

  • for the Lord's leading of many of the 108 graduating trainees to join in His move in one of the GTCA cities, particularly in the five cities with new campus teams: Orlando, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, and Richmond.
  • for the Lord's leading of some graduates to continue to FTTA-XB;
  • for the wisdom of the brothers in planning for how the Fall term would be carried out;
  • that all first to third term trainees would still cooperate with the Lord to return next term;
  • that college graduates and young working saints would not be dissuaded from answering God's call to come to the FTTA next term.

Washington, DC – Meeting Hall

We are pleased to announce that the Church in Washington, DC is moving ahead to purchase a meeting hall. During almost 50 years of meeting, this will be our first permanent meeting facility. Please pray for the Lord's further move and His interests here.

Photos, a five minute video, instructions for giving, and more are at http://churchindc.org/meeting-hall/.

Holy Bible Recovery Version in Korean

The NT Recovery Version in Korean was published in 2007. Now the entire Holy Bible Recovery Version in Korean has been published. Please pray:

  • for all the saints to enjoy the divine truth and the riches of life through the interpreted word in Korean;
  • that the Lord may use the Holy Bible Recovery Version in Korean to reach all the Korean-speaking people all over the earth for recovery of the truth and spreading the gospel of the kingdom; and
  • that God's economy and His will be fulfilled on this earth through the divine truth and the word.

BfA has experienced unprecedented engagement with the content on our social media channels over the past few months. We've launched several interactive campaigns, such as asking our followers "What's your favorite Bible verse?" (responses came pouring in!). Our posts on Facebook have also been seen by more people than ever before, with one of them reaching more than 24,000 people!

Please pray for those who are engaging with us through these channels. May they order a free Bible if they haven't already, and share our posts with many others.
