Enjoying Christ on the Genuine Ground of Oneness
“Where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free man, but Christ is all and in all.” (Col. 3:11)
“Being diligent to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace: one Body and one Spirit, even as also you were called in one hope of your calling.” (Eph. 4:3-4)
We all must learn that in this universe God has chosen only one place, and that place is the church. God requires us to go to this place He has chosen. Spiritually speaking, we must destroy every place other than the church and every name other than the name of Christ. We must destroy everything that damages the oneness of the one new man. Then we will simply be in the church life enjoying Christ as the riches of the good land. As we enjoy Him with God, we will be planted in the house of the Lord, we will grow, and we will flourish.
The genuine oneness—the oneness according to the nature of God—is an all-inclusive, comprehensive oneness that includes all positive things. All the godly things and all the spiritual riches are ours on the genuine ground of oneness.
On the one hand, we must admit that we are still quite short and have a long way to go. On the other hand, we can testify that the Lord’s riches surely are to be found in His recovery! (CWWL, 1979, vol. 2, “The Genuine Ground of Oneness,” pp. 288-289, 243, 330)
Hall 2 Oak Glen Retreat
This weekend, December 16 through 18, over 100 saints and children of all ages from the Valley will head to Oak Glen Christian Conference Center for an intimate time of loving the Lord. The general theme of the time will be “Love Is the Most Excellent Way.”
Please pray for a sweet time of blending and that we all would enter into the reality of loving the Lord, loving one another, and loving others. Also pray for the saints to be refreshed for a new start with the Lord in 2023.
Belgium
There will be a conference in Brussels, Belgium this weekend, December 16 to 18. Please pray for the release of the Lord’s rich word to all the saints and for the blending of the saints for the reality of the Body of Christ.
Ukraine
Please continue to pray that:
- The Lord will keep all the saints in the involved countries open to Him for their experience of the divine dispensing in all the situations of their daily living.
- The brothers who are fighting in the war will be preserved by the Lord in their tripartite being.
- The Lord will shepherd the refugees and establish them in the church life.
- The local saints, serving ones, and trainees will be blended with the refugees by being through the cross and by the Spirit to minister Christ to one another for the building up of the Body.
- Saints in all countries involved will be kept in the oneness of the Body and the reality of the new man.
- The tripartite being of saints in besieged cities will be protected and preserved for the Lord’s interests.
- The Lord will comfort and sustain those who have lost loved ones in the war.
- The enemy will be bound in his attack on the Lord’s interests in Russia, Ukraine, and Europe.
Vietnam
Pray for the ministry of the age to spread to the whole country and gain good materials for the building up of the Body through the distribution of seven Rhema books.
Eswatini
Eswatini, formerly called Swaziland, is one of the smallest countries in Africa bordered by South Africa and Mozambique. The Lord has been moving swiftly in this country this year. One family from Asia migrated to the capital, Mbabane, for work, and this has strengthened the church life. Furthermore, some students, having touched the church life abroad, have returned to Eswatini as active participants. As a result, the number of saints in the church life has grown from a mere handful to 25, though the table meeting has not yet been established. The frequent traffic and blending with saints from South Africa has also been a source of blessing and encouragement.
Please pray that the Lord would establish the existing saints in Eswatini and release their function gradually by strengthening their life, vision and burden. For His purpose, also pray for more saints to visit and even to consider migrating there.
